Using precision tools like foam rollers, TuneUp massage balls, and deep, purposeful stretches, we will be improving circulation and releasing restrictions in these key areas to restore freedom of movement and reduce discomfort.
Why focus on hips? The fascia around the hips plays a vital role in supporting your core, stabilizing your spine, and ensuring smooth movement. Chronic tightness here can ripple into pain in other areas like the lower back, knees, and even shoulders. Releasing this tension not only supports your physical health but also creates a powerful sense of emotional release, as the hips are known to store somatic energy of chronic stress and trauma.
This class is perfect for anyone who experiences tight hips, lower back strain, inability to enjoy deeper forward folds in their yoga practice, or simply wants to move with greater ease and balance. Each session begins with mindful breathing to ground and calm the nervous system, followed by guided myofascial release techniques and stretches that activate proprioceptive feedback, "waking up" dormant muscles and nerves.
